A 2012 Cross Season Wrap Up
We’re back baby, and sexier than ever. While there hasn’t been a lot of action on this blog, there has certainly been a lot of fast, sexy, and furious action on the road, trails, velodrome, and cross courses of the bay area thanks to the racers of Team Chica Sexy. Some have come, one has gone, and now we look to the coming road, mountain, and track seasons to spread the word about the chica.
The 2012 cyclo cross season was highlighted by the awesome ferocity of Team Chica Sexy consisting of 10 bad ass riders. They are:
Heather Pugh – Women’s A
Natalia Hernandez Gardiol – Women’s A
Alfred Cauthen – Men’s A and Single Speed A
Geoffrey Colburn – Men’s B
Kenneth Ho – Men’s B
Kevin White – Men’s B
J. Shaun O’Bryan – Men’s Masters 35+ A
and myself, the Urinator – Single Speed A and Men’s Masters 35+ A
We were joined by Chica Sexy road racer extraordinaire William Rose, who came out and decimated the Men’s B field at Sierra Point in his first cross start.
The team also saw the addition by unanimious decision of Andres Ruiz, who was dubbed a “Hair Farmer” by master promoter Murphy Mack at Stafford Lake.
We unfortunately lost Leah Plack to Team Fresh Air and her kick ass spirit will be missed.
So long for now, and looking forward to next season. Big thanks to all the great photographers including Tim Westmore, and Peter Taylor.

What great odds, 50-50.
Rain drenched misery or crisp clear air, the sound of the peletons tires beading water off the wet road. Either way, I’ll be ready with boodies and back-lava-zzz.
